Alexis House is an award-winning soprano, dedicated performer, and passionate vocal instructor based in Northern Virginia. From her earliest moments on stage, music has been more than a hobby—it has been a calling. Through years of intensive study and active performance in classical voice, contemporary musical theatre, competitive honor choirs, and solo engagements, Alexis has cultivated an artistic perspective rooted in technical excellence, authentic emotional expression, and a deep-seated joy for singing.
As a performer, Alexis’s versatility shines across multiple genres. Her foundational training in classical vocal technique allows her to navigate demanding operatic and choral repertoire with precision, breath control, and rich tonal development. Simultaneously, her extensive experience in musical theatre has given her a sharp instinct for storytelling through song, character development, and commanding stage presence. Whether acting in lead theatrical roles, serving as a church cantor, or performing the National Anthem at major civic and community events, Alexis brings an unwavering commitment to artistry and professional excellence to every stage she steps on.
Beyond her own performances, Alexis is deeply invested in the growth of the next generation of singers. As an experienced vocal instructor and audition recording coach, she helps youth, middle school, and high school singers discover their unique instruments. Having recently served as the Assistant Music Director for Seussical, she understands what directors look for behind the casting table. Her teaching philosophy centers on building healthy vocal habits, expanding vocal range safely, and fostering the mental confidence required to nail high-stakes auditions.
Alexis's ultimate goal is to dedicate her life to the craft of singing. She is actively preparing to study Vocal Performance at the collegiate level, aiming to refine her technique, expand her repertoire, and pursue a lifelong career on the professional stage and in music education. Through Alexis House Voice Studio, she invites aspiring singers to join her on this musical journey—elevating their performances, building lifelong skills, and sharing the profound joy of music.
